Sorry…I changed my mind

One of my most inspiring scriptures in the bible is Proverbs chap. 4. It deals with quite a number of subjects but in verses 23 and24 it talks about the mind; the need to keep our minds free from contamination. it says guard your mind with all diligence for out of it are the issues of life.

A lot has been said, written and researched on the power of the mind yet, it is one aspect of a human being that so many have been unable to comprehend and maximise. Some have abused or misused their own mind while others have seriously under utilised their minds. The mind is a terrible thing to waste. Many are wasting their minds.

Sometimes I get a nudge in me from the Spirit of God to pay attention to some things I would otherwise have overlooked. I was riding in a bus one day when I heard Him say “change your mind and you will change your life”.

That got me thinking. To change your mind one of the things you need to do is to change your environment. It is often said that a man is the product of his environment. Here I must say that your environment is not just your physical environment.

Sometimes to change your mind you need to change your environment because some of the limitations we have are placed on us by our immediate environment. What are those things that constitute our environment?

These are the things we will be looking at the next time we meet.
